Here are some recent examples of gardening and landscaping works undertaken. Please note, I have a tendency to forget to take thorough before, during after photos. On many occasions, clients have opted not to share photos of their gardens for various reasons.
Restoration of 4 large conifer hedges
The project involved restorative work on 4 large conifer hedges (approx 4 meters tall and 4 meters in circumference). All four hedges have been neglected for a long time and so the entire restorative process (excluding mini hedge removal) took 3.5 days. The hedge in BEFORE #3 had to be tied back as its branches began to fall outwards. All hedges were carefully shaped to the desired curved shape. The second part of the project was to remove 25 meters of mini hedge. This hedge had a U shape, spanning a width of approximately 3 meters. Removal was done by hand (entrance and patio in the garden did not support digger weight). It took approximately 2 days to remove mini hedge with all its roots.

Landscaping front garden of bungalow
This bungalow’s garden resembled a desert to begin with. The ground had a slope towards the entrance and during heavy rain it would flood this corner. After soil inspection, I discovered that one of the reasons contributing to poor growth was building rubble. The turf was removed and the entire front garden was excavated by hand. The rubble was cleared (~5 tons of rubble). It was replaced with 6 tons of organic, local soil. The area was leveled and compacted. The gravel path was dug/laid and micro-clover grass seed was sowed. It took 3 months for the new lawn to fully establish, and once it did – the transformation was beautiful! This lawn continues to look vibrant, soft and lush to this day. No fertiliser is ever required due to micro clover (releases nutrients such as nitrogen and suppresses weeds).
